About the Monday Club

The Monday Club has a lengthy provenance in the city of Seattle. For over 100 years, the club has been a tight-knit intellectual respite for leaders across a broad range of disciplines - academia, business, law, the clergy, medicine and government. 

The historic membership roster of the Monday Club includes university presidents, congressmen, CEOs, judges, medical researchers, members of the military and more. At least ten buildings at the University of Washington are named after former Monday Club members. 

Over 800 papers have been delivered by Monday Club members. Some 500 of these papers are in the Monday Club archives at the University of Washington in the Special Collections Department. All of these papers are available for public viewing.
